While on vacation in London, Nick proposed to Lily during an afternoon tea service at an English tea parlor.
Nick had been planning this event since last November but wanted to wait for a setting that complemented Lily's interests and personality. He chose to propose during afternoon tea because he knew that would be the perfect occasion.
